The TXR 1949 form is organized into the following sections:

  1. Property Identification
    Identifies the property address where the hydrostatic plumbing test will be performed.
  2. Plumber Consultation Advisory
    Prominent advisory directing both parties to consult a licensed plumber about the scope of the test and associated risks before executing the addendum.
  3. Authorization
    The seller grants authorization for the buyer to have a licensed plumber conduct a hydrostatic plumbing test. The test is at the buyer's expense.
  4. Allocation of Risk
    Three mutually exclusive options for allocating liability for damages caused by the hydrostatic test: (1) seller bears all liability, (2) buyer bears all liability, or (3) buyer bears liability up to a specified dollar cap.
  5. Signatures
    Signature lines for all buyers and sellers to execute the addendum.
