The TXR 2210 form is organized into the following sections:

  1. Notice Header
    Identifies the tenant and the property address affected by the management change.
  2. Change in Management
    Identifies the previous broker, the effective date of the management change, and the reason for the change (property sold, management changed, or broker terminated).
  3. Security Deposit
    Provides a full accounting of the security deposit (original amount, additions, deductions, current balance) and identifies who is now responsible for it, or states it is being returned to the tenant.
  4. New Broker, Manager or Owner
    Provides the tenant with the name, phone number, and address of the new responsible party for property management, security deposit inquiries, and future rent payments.
  5. Signature and Delivery
    Signature block identifying the signer and their role (new broker/manager, previous broker, new owner, or existing owner), plus documentation of when and how the notice was sent.
