Form Outline

The TXR 2302 form is organized into the following sections:

  1. Broker and Associate Identification
Identifies the broker and associate and references the independent contractor agreement between them. Includes a recommendation for annual execution.
  2. Independent Contractor Attestation Items
Nine attestation items confirm the associate's independent contractor status: license and affiliation status, self-payment of all expenses (license fees, transportation, entertainment), schedule autonomy, commission-only compensation, self-employment tax responsibility, and at-will termination with preserved commission rights.
  3. Associate Signature
The associate signs and dates the form to attest to all nine items. This is a unilateral attestation — only the associate signs.
