Form Outline

The TXR 2505 form is organized into the following sections:

  1. Title Examination or Insurance Advisory
    Advises the buyer to either have an attorney examine the property abstract or obtain title insurance to protect their interest in the property.
  2. Utility District Notice
    Warns that properties in Utility Districts (such as MUDs) carry statutory notice requirements about district taxes, bonds, and fees that the buyer must acknowledge.
  3. Public Improvement District Notice
    Alerts the buyer that properties in Public Improvement Districts require a separate written notice from the seller under Texas Property Code Section 5.014.
  4. Date, Brokerage, and Buyer Acknowledgment
    The broker dates and signs the notice, identifies their brokerage, and the prospective buyer(s) sign to acknowledge receipt.
