Lead intake gives you a personal web address that other tools can send leads to. Connect Zapier, a landing-page builder or an ad platform once, and each new lead appears on your Leads page the moment it comes in — with the usual new-lead notification — instead of being typed in by hand.
On the web, open Settings and choose Lead intake. In the mobile app it is on the Settings screen too. You will see your intake address, your keys, the fields a lead source can send, and your recent deliveries.
Tap Create key and name it after the lead source ("Zapier", "Facebook Lead Ads"). Tick the acknowledgment that the key acts as you and is yours to safeguard (Terms of Service § 11.1), then Create key. Copy the key now: it is shown once. The page also gives you the header value and an address-with-key version, ready to paste.
In Zapier, add a "Webhooks by Zapier" action, choose POST, paste your intake address as the URL, choose JSON as the payload type, and map your lead's fields to the field names shown on the page (first name, last name, email, phone, source, address, notes and so on — common spellings like first_name work too). Under Headers add Authorization with the value "Bearer" followed by a space and your key. A tool that cannot set headers can use the address-with-key version instead.
Run a test from your tool. The lead appears on your Leads page and under Recent deliveries on the Lead intake page within a few seconds. If it was turned away, the delivery row says why — usually a missing name, or no email or phone.
The lead is created on your Leads page as New (or the status your tool sent), with the source your tool named — or the key's name if it sent none.
If the email or phone matches one of your existing leads or contacts, no duplicate is created: a note with the new submission is added to your existing record, and nothing else on it changes.
You get the same new-lead email and push notification as for any other lead, and your new-lead automations run.
It creates leads on your own Leads page and nothing else — it can never read your data, and the only change it can make to an existing record is adding a note when a lead matches one you already have. It is still a credential: treat it like a password, keep it in the Authorization header rather than the address when you can, and revoke it on the Lead intake page the moment it may be exposed.
Name each key after the tool that uses it. If one source misbehaves you revoke only that key, and every delivery shows which key it came through. You can hold up to five active keys.
A first or last name (or a company name for a company lead) and an email address or a phone number. Everything else is optional.
If you connect your own AI to RaiderX, a read & write key can create leads too — ask it to add a lead and it fills the same form.
