How to add an agent to your team or LLC

Team leaders and LLC or PMC owners bring agents on themselves. There is no application to review and no intro call: the moment you add someone, their documents go out for e-signature, and our broker approves by countersigning. Your part is their split, their approvals, and showing them how your company works.

The six steps

  1. 1

Tap Add Agent and enter their details

Open Agents from your LLC or Team menu on the web and tap Add Agent. Enter their first and last name, email, phone, Texas license number, license state and years of experience; notes are optional. Save, and their application is created for them — they don’t apply on the website.

  2. 2

Their documents go out that minute

The Independent Contractor Agreement and W-9 are emailed to them for e-signature right away, and you both get an email. There is no application review and no intro call for agents you add: our broker approves by countersigning the ICA.

  3. 3

Set their commission split the same day

Every team or LLC agent needs a split before they can be paid. Open the Splits tab on Agents and set theirs — a flat percentage, or a plan from Split Plans with tiers, a cap or a transaction fee. There is no default: with no split on file, RaiderX refuses to issue their CDA. No agent can be at 100% — your organization keeps at least 1% of every deal.

  4. 4

    Request their approvals

An agent may only work the transaction types and counties they are approved for. Ask for theirs under Agents → Approvals, and our broker grants them. They can also earn approvals themselves through Partner Academy training.

  5. 5

Show them RaiderX and how your company works

Onboarding them is your job as their leader; an Account Executive intro call is optional and usually unnecessary. Point them to Your First 30 Days on their dashboard, and know that every partner completes the Policies & Procedures course in Partner Academy.

  6. 6

Our broker adds them at TREC once everything is done

When their signatures, account setup and payment (where it applies) are complete, our broker adds them under your organization at TREC. They accept the sponsorship request in their TREC account when it arrives.

What happens next

Added

Their application exists and the ICA and W-9 are on their way to them.

Signed

They sign; our broker countersigns the ICA — that is the approval.

Set up

They set up their account from the email that follows, and pay only if your company does not cover their dues.

Sponsored

Our broker adds them under your organization at TREC and they accept it in their TREC account.

Good to know

Someone who already applied

If that person already has an active application with RaiderX, Add Agent is refused until it is closed. A denied or cancelled one does not block you.

If their documents did not go out

Now and then the e-signature service cannot start the documents the moment you add someone. The application stays pending, our broker sends them by hand and staff are alerted — nothing for you to do.

Their dues

An LLC or PMC pays $20 a month per agent, added to the owner’s subscription by default; a team agent is $119 a month. On Agents you can have an agent pay their own share, or split it any way you like.

Quick answers

Do they need to apply on the website first?
No. Adding them from Agents is their application. There is no review queue and no intro call for agents a leader adds.
Can I add agents through the API?
LLC and PMC companies with the Partner API turned on can — it starts the same onboarding. See the guide on connecting your software to the RaiderX API.
Who sets their split?
You do, on the Splits tab or with a plan from Split Plans. RaiderX never invents a split for you, and no team or LLC agent can be at 100%.
